As many of you know, Chicago Botanic Garden is like another home for me. It was my very first job here in Chicago, as a horticultural intern. Now I return as an admirer, a photographer and also an instructor. I teach a Macro photography course in the winter and two Photography Portfolio courses in the spring. I have spent countless hours walking the gardens beautiful pathways in all different seasons. Eric and I arrived early to choose some quiet, less walked corners of the garden in full fall glory!
When we first met Bahareh and Justin, we instantly knew we'd be a great match, both in photographic style, personality and love for the great outdoors. Their wedding is in May and we can't wait. The details I've heard include blue mason jars with twinkling lights, amazing florals and a relaxed day to enjoy their family and friends. They are our kind of folks.
One more thing. I don't what was going on this day, but Eric's shots were crazy amazing.
Vintage wooden purse and blue heels? Yes please. Eric's shot.
You guessed it. Eric's shot.
We ended our time together in the Conifer Garden when the light was crazy beautiful. It was just after sunset.
