Joanna and Nick are neighbors with Maria and Luis. Remember Maria's lovely maternity pics? I just can't tell you how much I love meeting friends of new friends. I've had several pairs of clients like this this season and it adds a different kind of depth in meeting and being introduced to people's stories. Joanna and Nick have been married for several years and wanted some photos of them in their lovely city. We headed out to North Ave beach on a classic Chicago day. Windy, cloudy and wonderfully fall. They were very easy to work with very obvious chemistry. I know it can sometimes be so hard to try to forget about the fact I am standing only feet away with my camera but I simply can't reproduce with posing or corny jokes compared to what two people in love talking to one another produces. I just have the privilege to spend a few hours with you and document what two people in love walk around with every single day. That's what I love about my job. I get to show others the beauty that is hard to see when you are standing in it.
