Still catching up from weekend in Rochester with my Mom and Grandma and my two overnight train rides to and from. It was such a nice time. It was my Grandma's birthday and we sang the birthday song every day we were there and stretched out the celebration as long as possible. I stayed with Grandma in her cute apartment and was awakened every morning by her cheery canary's song.

A fact I bet you don't know is that I worked for 8 months at a Gourmet Bakery in college and I can make a mean New York Cheesecake. Grandma requested one of these for her birthday. Ta-Da!

I spent my last afternoon there, going through old albums of family photos. Grandpa has been gone now for ten years and every Spring I miss him so. Grandpa loved flowers and they would make their yearly visit to the South when the beautiful first blooms of Spring had arrived. Grandma and I paged through their wedding album from 1949 and remembered him and the day they became Mr. and Mrs.

The one below is my absolute favorite. They just had rice thrown as they exited the church and climbed into her Dad's brand new Ford.

Check out these cute hats!! Now back to work!! Happy Wednesday!
