From the moment we met up on a cold winter's day for Rachel and Robert's engagement session we hit it off. These two are generous, open hearted and a lot of fun! Their wedding day was no different. Their good humor along with dear friends and family surrounded them and celebrated their love. I heard Rachel say several times that she wanted the day to slow down, that it was going too fast. She wanted to remember it all. Thank you again Rachel and Rob for bringing us along and treating us as friends with cameras. It is obvious we think the world of you and we celebrated right along with your nearest and dearest.
And Rachel? You are stunning.
Rachel and her bridesmaids WALKED to St. Clement Church for the ceremony. It was a wonderful parade through the few blocks from her home to the church to be wed.
I followed the newlyweds out the front door as they celebrated privately. This series is minutes after they left the church as husband & wife. Some of my favorites of the day.
We headed off to Lincoln Park where Rachel and Rob spend a lot of time together and love the lush green among the city.
Rachel made these necklaces for her bridesmaids!!
We piled back into the fun trolley and headed to Fulton's on the River. We spent a few extra minutes outside on the Lasalle bridge downtown.
Fulton's on the River looked elegant and classic with hints of aqua and sage that really set the whole room off. Guests mingled on the terrace on the Chicago river and enjoyed an evening in the heart of the city.
Thank you again Rachel and Rob for having us with you on your big day. We wish you a lifetime of love and friendship that grows with each passing day.
xoxo,
Jessie & Eric
