Kathy and Jason are really fun people that really love each other. We had such a great time in their home for their engagement session bottling home brew. They had a very small celebration with only thirty of their nearest and dearest. The adoration between them was so apparent, full of small glances that were only for one another. Through the lens I got to witness two very special people happily become wed. Laura from Honey Bee Weddings did a fantastic job keeping the day running along beautifully. They chose Bistrot Margot for their celebratory dinner with their friends and family complete with board games of scrabble and cards being played into the night.
It was a lovely day.
Kathy got ready and was wed in the gorgeous Peninsula Hotel. Kathy's new sister-in-law made the most incredible detachable train. I could not get over the intricate design and incredible hues of blue.
They were married in small room by Judge Michael Jordan ( yes, really that was his name) at The Peninsula Hotel. This was a few minutes after the ceremony.
We spent a relaxed time in the wonderful green of Lincoln Park. Photo below by Eric.

Kathy had nods to her love of all things vintage throughout her day. She looked classic yet with just a hint of vintage. It was perfectly her. They rented a vintage car that escorted them around the city.
Off to Bistrot Margot for a lovely dinner with their guests.
They had board games set up to play throughout the evening.
We went out into the neighborhood for a few night shots at the end of the evening.
Thank you Kathy and Jason. We had the most enjoyable day with you two celebrating along with your friends and family. A big congratulations!
