Branches.

Yesterday as I was out for my thirty minutes of solitude with my camera I stopped and focused on these branches. There were just a few yellow remaining leaves that were blowing off as I stood there. I am embracing the changing seasons, the changing light, the absence of color. The landscape is now not bursting in color and dance, but taking on different cords and melodies. I am trying to listen.

I love these pictures Jessie. Would it be possible to have a print made of one of them? I think that they perfectly capture winter in the Midwest. I can almost feel a cold wind tear through the room just looking at them.
