We are moving to the West Coast! The last 4 weeks have been full of packing, planning, more packing and getting super excited. Chicago, don’t freak out below is my schedule for when I will be here in the Midwest and I want to see you!

Callie | Newborn Family Photography

Baby Lido | Modern Family Photography

Baby Lido is a bundle of six month old smiles and giggles. We had a fun morning cooing and entertaining this little man. It is always fun to see a baby light up with all attention on him. It’s charming really. Can’t wait to see little Lido grow!

We could not resist bundling Lido up for a few outdoor shots. Serious, serious cuteness.

Remember sweet Noah at 3 months? Click here to see how much he’s grown! This little mister is hard not to fall for. He has such a sunny disposition and kept giggling and smiling at me with those beautiful chocolate brown eyes. It is always a joy to spend time with him and his Mom! How fun it is to see these little ones grow so fast and change in just the few short months since I’ve seen them last!

Happy 9 months Noah and next up will be a big one year session with the whole family!

Penz Family | Creative Fall Family Photography

Remember this beautiful family from last year on the lake? They were just leaving Chicago and settling down closer to work. They now have another on the way and Jack has gotten so big! Fosberg Family | Modern Family Photography in Millennium Park

This was THE Fall day that I cross my fingers for every year. It was sunny, quite warm and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Millennium Park this alive with the colors of Fall. It really was breathtaking. Before I met up with this sweet family I sat in the leaves for a few minutes and tried to drink it in. I know this jublilent display of colors only does its short dance before winter arrives.

Meet the sweet Fosberg family and their sweet baby girl Eleanor.

I loved the colors and combination they choose for the shoot. Look at these sweet mocassins!

We also did some more modern imagery around Pfizer Pavilion. I love how Eleanor is looking up at her Dad.

Bernstein Family | Family Photography at Caldwell Lily Pond

I was honored when Beth from SQN Events asked me to spend a fall morning with her lovely family. We chose the forgotten Caldwell Lily Pond in Lincoln Park. The morning light was perfection and we had a great time. I’ve had such a fun time getting to know Beth and how she approaches pulling off a flawless event. I feel totally confident with Beth on the team! I am very much looking forward to working more and more with her in the future!

River Park is one of my favorite hidden gems near the studio. It is my absolute favorite for Fall color. It is a small quiet park full of old beautiful trees that were all singing the glory of fall.

Last week I took a few extra days after our Michigan wedding to go visit my dear friend Topaz. She is in central Michigan and while Eric went back to the city I took a few days to be with her and her family with now four children!!

Topaz, you are such a good Mom. You encourage constantly, stand firm when needed and seem to guide your home with a faithful loving hand that is so admirable. I loved our 2 am chat and sometimes miss the good old days when that happened more often. I love your children. Each with their own spirit and growing up in a home of love.

I remember sitting with you at your pool seven years ago scared when you asked me if I knew Eric was “the one” and I replied timidly , Yes. I remember the day we were on our way to get pizza in your car when you burst that you were pregnant with your first.

I love you sweet friend, your sweet children and your amazing spirit. Thanks for having me play in your back yard for three days.
