Andrea and Rob's reception was at Fulton's on the River. We spent time along the Chicago river front and popped into a few other places downtown before heading back for the big celebration. Miss Part 1? Click here to the ceremony and getting ready shots! You might also want to check out their chilly engagement shoot at the zoo!
I love this next series because it really captures these two. Happy strolling along hand in hand.
A taxi drove by honking with people hanging out of windows congratulating the new Mr. and Mrs!
At Fulton's on the River we were greeted with a room full of beautiful details. White dreamy florals by Fleur and the entire event planned and executed by Heather from Greatest Expectations.
They danced the night away with the extraordinary Stitely Orchestra.
We ended the night with romantic night shots on the bridges outside of Fulton's on the River.
Such a big congratulations to Andrea and Rob!! We are thrilled for you two and what is ahead in your story. Thank you again for letting us in and allowing us to write this chapter with you two.

Not too many people think of Chicago for its beautiful beaches and water... but take a look, its true!! North Avenue Beach has beautiful skyline, lovely waves and beautiful blue water. And let's be honest, this great spot has been abused with the cheesiest of wedding photography. This gal needs another chance. Catherine and Sean had a beautiful warm afternoon that we have all been pinning and dreaming of since January. We spent time chatting details of the wedding day ( which I am now thoroughly excited about) and had an easy going time enjoying the lakeside. Their wedding is not so far away and you'll be seeing these two dressed to the nines at the end of May!
Rachel and Robert are fun, really fun. They don't take life too seriously, are wonderfully down to earth and love winter. Maybe their love for winter can pull me out of my " I'm done with winter" blahs. They live in Lincoln Park and have spent countless evenings strolling through the park surrounding North Pond. This is their back yard and a reminder of who they are together. I love our clients. It is such a treat to be invited into love-stories that are real and raw. Couples that do life together, live with one another in the day to day.
Love in the everyday is the very best kind.
My favorite shot of the day. Eric's shot below.
Stopped for a warm cup of hot chocolate.
These two have a sense of humor that matched great with Eric and I. We were all laughing and having a good time. I love when that happens. AND Rob brought out his secret uber talent of statue mimicking. Quite good, quite good indeed.
Last 15 min. of sunlight are always magical with color and light.
We are both very excited for their June wedding this summer right here in Chicago. Congrats you two.
Here is Part 2 of Ashley and Philip's Miami Destination Wedding! This post is full of the ancient Spanish Monastery surrounded with tropical foliage and old stone work. It was unbelievable to shoot in and an incredible experience for their guests. Miss Part 1 from yesterday? Click here!
Their candlelit ceremony took place in the courtyard of the Spanish Monestary under this beautiful tree.
DURING the ceremony , this racoon was hovering over Ashley and Phil. Thanks goodness he stayed put!
The new Mr. and Mrs!!
Dinner was served in the cloisters surrounded by beautiful vaulted ceilings and old stone.
Then the party really got going!
One frame from Aimee and Russell's New York wedding in the mountains. It was gorgeous and much more to come in 2011! Congratulations!
