Haley & Riley | Marin Headlands Engagement Photography

These two are so full of sunshine and totally at ease with the other. We joined up at Fort Cronkhite in the Marin Headlands and had the most incredible afternoon of sunshine and warm temperatures. We had a relaxed time strolling around and capturing these two where they have spent many days hiking and enjoying the amazing California coast together. Can't wait for July!

Woodland Engagment Photography in bay area

Kellie and Jeff met when they were five years old on the swim team and grew up in the same town. They didn't fall in love until after college and have been together ever since. Such wonderful light on this day that I split up the session into two blog posts. For their engagement session we visited childhood places they both were attached to and attended. We started at the Redwood Grove in Los Altos tucked away in a lovely little neighborhood. They both went to summer camp there. I love that.

Amy & Michael | Love Shoot at Crissy Field San Francisco

Funny story. We met Amy one drizzly day doing the crazy thing called apartment hunting in San Francisco. We had been warned how intense it was but I don't even know how to describe it to people who ask. Amy was there in her rain boots and umbrella looking at the same overpriced sad little apartment as we were. Neither one of us wanted the place but we got to talking and she had just moved from Chicago as well! She took us up on meeting up and we met Michael over drinks watching sunset over the Pacific Ocean. These two have such an easy chemistry that made this session combined with this gorgeous evening images I really adore. More of these two up on the blog tomorrow!

Kate & Mark | Chicago | Prairie Engagement

This evening with Kate & Mark was so lovely. When we cleared the city full of weekend traffic and finally got to the quiet of this space we all let down a bit. The sunlight was golden and it turned into a lovely summer evening. I loved their neutral colors and Kate's golden hair in the last of the day's light. So excited for their wedding in September! Congrats you two!

We popped out to the lake just as the summer sun was going down.
